Kentucky is #1; Syracuse, UNC, Michigan State Also Top Seeds

In a wild conference tournament weekend where the four presumed #1 seeds all lost, Kentucky managed to hang on to the top overall seed despite falling to Vanderbilt in the SEC tournament final.

Syracuse and North Carolina were also named #1 seeds despite losing in their conference tourneys. 

Michigan State knocked off Ohio State to win the Big Ten and steal a top seed from Kansas, who received a 2.

The 2012 NCAA Tournament begins Tuesday in Dayton when at-large teams BYU and Iona square off, while 16 seeds Mississippi Valley State and Western Kentucky meet for the right to move into the second round.
