Florida Gets Overall Top Seed

Defending champion Florida is the overall top seed in the 2007 NCAA Tournament field, which was announced today.  Florida will take on Jackson State in a first-round game in New Orleans on Friday.

The other top seeds are North Carolina, Ohio State, and Kansas.  All four top seeds won their respective conference tournaments on Sunday.

The ACC sent seven teams to the big dance in 2007; North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Duke, and Georgia Tech.

Arizona made the field for the 23rd straight year, the longest current streak.
